Very expensive due to proprietary Jornada connector and small market base. HP part number F1295A also known as F1295-60901 HP Serial adapter - Allows palmtop to connect to Windows CE compatible peripherals with standard 9-pin serial interface. Changes Jornada backside port to simple serial port. I've tried two suppliers so far and ended up with two free sync cables from shipping wrong part.
Despite what it's called in Amazon.com's listing, this is NOT a USB-to-serial adapter; it is a HP Jornada-to-serial adapter. When I finally received it, I noticed that nowhere on the actual box does it mention USB. It would appear that this is a listing error on Amazon.com's part.
When this product was delivered I discovered it has something that looks like a USB connector, but it is not a standard USB connector. It is useless to anyone other than the owner of the computer specified.
